WatchPower

Monitors multiple inverters for solar panels at the same time.

  DOWNLOAD Free

Nowadays, due to the climate challenges we are facing, many people is installing solar energy systems both for home and industrial uses.

For these systems to work properly, users need to install current inverters, which transform the direct current of the solar panels into the alternate current used by most electrical devices.

WatchPower is a free program that monitors the inverters used in a solar installation. It provides real-time information regarding both the inverters themselves and the batteries connected to them, for example, AC voltage and frequency, output voltage and frequency. It also allows you to set the parameters of the connected devices and creates an event log for each connected device.

The program also has advanced functions that you can customize according to your needs.

An advantage of the program is that it can monitor multiple devices at once, thus showing all the relevant information in a single view. Also, since it is a portable program, you don't need to install it. After uncompressing the .zip file, you can click on the .exe file and run the program in any device.

The main disadvantage is that the compressed file is massive and takes a while to download. Also, it requires a huge amount of disk space.

If you have a solar energy installation, you may find this program useful.

Pros

  • Can monitor several devices at the same time,
  • The program is free

Cons

  • Installation file is massive
  • Application is very specific

Hello I forgot my login and what email address I registered my inverter to (after resetting the phone). Now I can’t log into the program and reset my password or register again. How can I find out what email my equipment was registered to?
